Even if you are unable to provide childcare during the workday, there are always parents looking for childcare in the evenings or on weekends. For those whose job involves shift work, a flexible childcare provider can be difficult to find. Be sure to check to see what legal and administrative regulations there are in your area for childcare providers.
5. Offer a cleaning service
Can you spend one or two evenings a week cleaning homes? How about spending a few hours on your day off vacuuming and mopping the hallways in a nearby condo or apartment building? Make some calls, put up some posters, or deliver some flyers in your neighborhood to advertise and see what response you get.
By employing ideas like these, you can create a supplemental income for yourself. You will not likely be rich, but you can benefit from being able to pay the bills a bit easier and still have some pocket change left over.
